No.147 First Avenue was originally built on this lot in 1848. In 1871 an extension was added to form the currently standing buildings today at 147 First Avenue and 347 East 9th Street.

The facades are four-story in height, with most historical details stripped. They presently feature painted surface and renewed storefront with iron pilasters and simple cornice above first story.
