Description & Building Alterations

This lot used to be occupied by a two-story with basement tenement, which was altered by architect Otto Reissmann in 1908 to be used as a synagogue in the Romanesque style. The front wall was removed and replaced as per plans, and the owner at the time was J. Levy. It was in operation throughout much of the 20th century.

The current four-story with penthouse apartment building was constructed prior to 1999.
