Description & Building Alterations

This five-bay wide, five-story with basement brick tenement building was erected in 1867, along with the row of tenements on First Avenue. The owner’s name is illegible on the tax assessment record for that year.

Its facade features a bracketed cornice with decorated frieze, segmental-arched window openings, molded lintels with foliate details, and footed sills with moldings. The historical stoop was removed and entrance moved to basement level in 1935.
