271 East 7th Street | Block : 377 | Lot #52
Description & Building Alterations
This is a three-story Greek Revival row house originally constructed in 1843. It features cap-molded window lintels and sills, starred wall anchors, dormers, a metal crest, a marble stoop, and a beautiful wooden door. The mansard roof, typical of the French Second Empire style, was likely added in the 1860s or 1870s when that style was fashionable.
