Description & Building Alterations
This six-story brick tenement building was erected in 1903 by George Frederick Pelham for owner Abraham Elterman. The building features detailed terracotta window surrounds, quoins, a decorative doorway surround framed with columns and retains its historic cornice. Pelham was a prolific architect designing for over 43 years and many of his buildings can be seen in the East Village today.
