Description & Building Alterations

This building was constructed in 1852 along with the buildings at 220 and 222 East 12th Street. The first owner was H. Theriot. The house has been altered throughout the years and the front stoop was removed in the 1920s. Between 2011 and 2013, the historic cornice was removed and the facade was significantly altered with brick and simple window enframements.
