Description & Building Alterations

The original building on this lot was likely built in 1849 according to tax assessment increases. The building was shortened to its present two-story form in 1936. The current building has a storefront on the first floor along with a doorway on the left side. The upper story has three windows with a single ladder style fire escape. There is the remnant of a small brick cornice pattern likely dating from the alteration in 1936. The facade has been refinished in a grey stucco.
