Description & Building Alterations
This four-story with basement building was originally erected in 1851-52 as a three and one-half story house. It was later raised to the current height during an alteration designed by architect F. W. Klemt. The present facade features a simplified molded cornice, lintels, and sills. The entrance has been moved to the basement. The historical roof cornice, window lintels and footed sills have been stripped.
