Description & Building Alterations
This six-story renaissance revival style old-law tenement was built in 1897, and shares a similar facade with numerous other buildings designed by George Frederick Pelham in the East Village.
The facade features a round-arched entrance with elaborate enframement, decorative terra-cotta beltcourses and frieze at upper stories, window lintels with hoods and molding at second story, pedimented window surrounds at outer bays on the third story, round-arched window openings with arched lintels and keystones at the fifth story and small corbelled balconettes at fifth story outer bay windows. The roof cornice features brackets and garlanded frieze.
