Description & Building Alterations

This building was originally built by the developers Anson G. Phelps and Elisha Peck, as part of a row of four-story-and-basement houses at 58 to 70 Second Avenue.

During the alterations designed by Henry Harrison in 1928, a new facade was installed, the stoop was removed, and a new storefront was installed. The current facade is of Arts & Crafts style, featuring patterned brickwork with decorative spandrels and tympanum.
