Description & Building Alterations

This lot contains a pair of tenement buildings that were built in 1871 as part of a corner group of buildings on lots 29, 30, 31 and 32. The four-story buildings were built in the Italianate style as evident by the segmental arched window lintels. The cornice is missing but would likely have been a bracketed classically styled cornice. The ground floor storefronts still retain some cast iron columns and are infilled with wooden elements.
