Description & Building Alterations

This four-story with basement tenement was originally built as a single-family dwelling between 1852 and 1867. It was converted to multiple family use prior to 1891.

The present facade features bracketed cornice with paneled frieze, main entry flanked by engaged pilasters supporting a molded entablature. The historic brownstone lintels have been stripped. The original main entry and stoop at first story were removed and entrance moved to basement between 1940s and 1980s.
