Description & Building Alterations

This is a four story, four bay brick tenement building with a restaurant/bar occupying the first floor  orginally built 1835-36.  The south side features a contemporary mural, primarily blue, one story in height, that promotes the current tenant (Nice Guy Eddie’s). The storefront on the eastern (Avenue A) side consists of brown brick and glass. The lintels are case iron and the cornice is a Neo-Grec styled metal cornice likely dating from an 1877 alteration.
