Description & Building Alterations

The earliest structure on this lot was a tenement built in 1899, though altered over the years, it still retains some of its original ornament on the upper floors.

The second building on this site, now razed was a 1906 tenement. The new two story building and the alterations to the 1899 building were completed in 1994 for the Bowery Mission Transitional Center.
