Description & Building Alterations
This Renaissance Revival six-story tenement was constructed in 1897. It is located in the East Village/Lower East Side Historic District.
The present facade features a historic fire escape, galvanized-iron cornice and frieze, rough brick banding, decorative molding courses, stone lintels and pediments and brick piers on corbelled brick on the top story among other decorations.
