381 East 10th Street | Block : 393 | Lot #45
Description & Building Alterations
This simple Italianate building is five stories tall and has a bracketed cornice and simple cast iron lintels. There are several vents that pierce the front facade, detracting from the clean and simple aesthetics of the building. The building was the subject of a 2001 New York Times which discussed the neighboring development requiring the infill of several windows, to the detriment of the residents.
