Description & Building Alterations
This five-story tenement was originally built in 1852, and went through early major alteration in 1872 under the architect Julius Boekell. Prior to the alteration, it was occupied by stables and carriage rooms.
The current facade features a brick base with masonry beltcourse, hooded window lintels and incised panels on the first story, decorated window enframements on the second story, beltcourses, molded lintels and bracketed sills on the upper floors. The roof cornice is supported by brackets, with frieze and dentils. The main entrance is enframed by masonry incised at the top.
