This four-bay wide, five-story tenement was originally erected in 1863-64, replacing a stable on the lot.
The building facade features a bracketed cornice with decorated frieze, segmental-arched window openings with denticulated lintels, footed sills, molded cornice above the first-story storefront, and engaged pilasters flanking the main entrance with a molded entablature on top. A one story penthouse addition has been added at the roof.
