The building at 258 East 4^th Street sits on a lot that was once Lots 15-19.

There are demolition permits on file ranging from 1978-1986 indicating when previous structures may have been lost. The current six-story brick veneer residential building was constructed in 1991. The building is set back from the lot line by a couple of feet. Decorative features of the building are minimal and flush with the façade. The building has 51 residential units.
