Description & Building Alterations
This four-story tenement was originally erected as a three-story plus attic house for one family in 1842-43. It was raised to four stories plus basement and converted into multiple dwellings in 1872, during an alteration designed by Julius Boekell.
The present facade features bracketed cornice with paneled frieze, molded window lintels and footed sills. The historical stoop was removed in 1965 and the entrance moved to basement.
