Description & Building Alterations

The buildings at numbers 15, 17, and 19 Avenue D were all constructed together in 1835. The original Flemish Bond brickwork is evident on No. 15, signaling that all three buildings were constructed as Federal style row houses. The shell of 19 Avenue D appears to remain, but the facade has been refaced and no original ornamentation exists.
