Description & Building Alterations

This building was likely constructed in 1859 according to tax records (its early Italianate appearance also suggests this). The lintels are simply ornamented, the cornice features foliated brackets and simple rectangular panels in the frieze, and the facade is clad in red brick laid in a running bond pattern. The ground floor storefronts have changed with the needs of the commercial tenants and do not appear to have any original ornament.
