Description & Building Alterations

This five-story tenement was originally erected in 1838-39 as a three story structure. It was raised to four stories in 1871 and to its current height in 1877-78. The present facade features a bracketed cornice beneath a brick parapet, bracketed window lintels, footed sills, and engaged pilasters flanking the main entry.
