Description & Building Alterations

This five-story brick pre-law tenement was constructed in 1859-1860 by original owner W. S. Wright, who owned many other buildings in the neighborhood.

The Italianate facade features a bracketed cornice consisting of floral details. The lintels and sills have been replaced in a Queen Ann style, which was a common replacement style in the late 19th century. The store front and entrance have also been renovated and replaced.
