Description & Building Alterations
This five-story tenement building was originally constructed in 1852-53, with a storefront on the first floor.
The upper stories of the present facade mostly date from an 1885 alteration designed by architect Berger & Baylies. The facade features a bracketed galvanized-iron cornice with paneled frieze, molded window lintels with hoods, and footed sills. The storefront has been altered multiple times.
