Description & Building Alterations

This pre-law tenement building was constructed at the same time as its neighbor at 123 First Avenue. It’s likely that Robert Orr originally owned both buildings.

The present facade features an ornate bracketed cornice with modillions and a paneled frieze, decorated molded lintels and bracketed sills at third and fourth stories, pedimented lintels with brackets and frieze at second story, and entrance enframement with iron pilasters on the first floor.
