Description & Building Alterations
This Renaissance Revival six-story with basement tenement was constructed in 1899. It is located in the East Village/Lower East Side Historic District.
The present facade features some of the original decoration including significant features like an iron cornice at the roof line, a cornice and decorative frieze above the first story, a historic wood doorway and the ornamental entrance surround, and the stone lintel and sill courses with the banding among others.
