Description & Building Alterations
This six-story new-law tenement and stores was constructed in 1903 by architects Bernstein & Bernstein. The building is six bays wide with store fronts at the first story. The front, main facade features elaborate window enframements at second and third stories with decorative panels and carvings, the fourth and fifth stories feature segmental and triangular pedimented lintels with brackets, splayed lintels with scroll keystones at the center bays of upper stories, and a bracketed cornice with garlanded frieze. The entrance is flanked by ornate iron pilasters.
