Description & Building Alterations

This structure was originally built in 1877 as two structures, one 24 feet wide and one 13 feet wide.  They were built at the same time as 418 and 418 1/2 East 9th street by the owner and designed by the same architect, FW Klemt.  The St. Mark’s builders were combined into one building in 1945.

The historical cornice, sills, and window lintels with pediments have been removed.
