Description & Building Alterations
The building was originally built along with the house at No. 100 East 4th Street.
The building underwent interior alterations designed by Henry Klein in 1909. The entrance was moved to the ground level in 1927, during alterations designed by L. M. Kaufman. The building used to be occupied by a doctor’s office, storage, and apartments.
The original parapet was removed and a replacement cornice was added between the 1940s and 1980s to unify the building with its neighbor, No. 100 East 4th Street.
