Description & Building Alterations

This five-story brick tenement building was erected in 1867, at the same time as the rest of the buildings in this block on First Avenue.

Its present facade features a bracketed cornice with decorated frieze, and segmental-arched window openings with molded lintels. The original footed sills have been stripped.

What is the Building Blocks Project
