Description & Building Alterations
This five-story with basement tenement was constructed in 1872. It is located in the East Village/Lower East Side Historic District and is in the neo-grec style with a few alterations.
The present facade features some of the original decorations including significant features like a bracketed stone pediment over the main door, a historic wooden door, transom and reveal, a historic fire escape and iron cornice.
