This building was originally erected along with the buildings on lots 9 and 10 by the same owner in 1851-52.
This five-story with basement tenement at 94 St. Mark’s Place features flat molded lintels and simple rectangular sills, bracketed cornice with modillions, and molded segmental arch above entrance. Iron tie rods with diamond shaped plates are found between window bays at the third through fifth stories. The cellar used to be a theatrical studio in late 20th century.
