Description & Building Alterations

This five-story with basement tenement located at No. 82 East 3rd Street was constructed in 1868-69.

The building facade features a bracketed cornice, round arched window lintels and bracketed sills, and an embellished projecting cornice with modillions above the first floor. The stoop was removed and the entrance moved to the basement. New fire escapes were installed in 1935.
