This five story tenement was built in 1887 for $18,000 by Leard H. Mc Alpin and designed by architect Richard Shaplet. It features a brick facade with stone string courses that connect with the window lintels and sills. The roof cornice features brackets and modillions.

Very much intact the building was designed to house two families on each floor with stores on the ground floor which is consistent with its use today.
