Description & Building Alterations
This three-story with basement building was originally erected in 1838-39 as a private house. The present facade features a bracketed cornice with a paneled frieze and a triangular pediment, molded lintels with small brackets, footed sills with molding, and recessed brick panels below the first story windows. The entrance has been moved from the first story to the basement. A galvanized-iron cornice replaced the original wood one in 1898.
