Description & Building Alterations

This tenement was originally built as a four-story single-family house in 1845, and was converted to multiple family use in 1895.

The present facade features a side entrance flanked by engaged pilasters supporting a molded entablature with frieze, molded galvanized-iron window lintels, and a Queen Anne-style cornice with center pediment and paneled frieze with garland details. The original entrance on first floor with a stoop has been removed and the entrance was moved to basement level.
