Originally, this lot was home a tenement that was the twin to the one on lot 52. In 1963 a vacate order was given on the building citing the immediate danger of building collapse. Demolished by 1980, the lot sat vacant until construction began in 1998.

This new four-story condo building is contextual in its design, using bricks, stone-like details, and a cornice in a manner similar to its neighbors.

What is the Building Blocks Project
