Description & Building Alterations

Built as a set of three Old-Law tenements circa 1855, 623 East 11th Street is a Greek Revival building that housed nine families and ground floor shops.  The modest window lintels and sills and bracketed cornice are all original and typical of this period.

in 1998 the ground floor shop was converted to additional apartments.
