Description & Building Alterations
This five-story with basement tenement was built in 1892-93, designed by architect Kurtzer & Rohl in the Queen Anne-style.
The facade features round-arched window openings with foliate decoration below and brownstone corbels on the first story. Upper stories feature terra-cotta beltcourses, inset foliate panels, and molded arches with a masked tympanum on the fifth story.
The cornice is supported by brackets, with foliate frieze and “1893” inscribed in the center. The main entrance is enframed by Corinthian pilasters and door hood supported by scroll brackets, with possible historic wood doors.
