Description & Building Alterations

This five-story, three-bay light brick building was built in 1842 as a Greek Revival-style rowhouse.

The current fifth floor was added in 1881 as a part of alterations designed by William Graul. In 1921 the stoop was removed and its entrance moved to basement. The basement and parlor floor have been largely rebuilt.

What is the Building Blocks Project
