Description & Building Alterations
This building was constructed in 1894. Maps from 1903 show that in that year, it was being used as a mirror factory. In 1910, it became a storage warehouse and stable.
In 1925, it was converted to a motor vehicle garage. Herman Bruns, the original owner, also owned the building around the corner at No. 317 Bowery, on which his initials are carved.
