Description & Building Alterations

This five-story tenement building is three window bays wide. The brick building was likely built in 1860 according to tax assessment records. The cast-iron lintels are similar to those on other buildings on the block, with a straight molded cornice above a segmental arch window opening. The Italianate cornice utilizes scrolled brackets as well as some floral and geometric ornamentation in the frieze. To the left of the central windows on the upper four floors are smaller windows, likely indicating the location of a bathroom.
