Description & Building Alterations

This four-story residential building was constructed in 1848 by owner A. M. Donald, though it has since been stripped of its historic details. Considering the 1940s tax photo shows a cornice and lintels, the building was altered after that time. A storefront used to exist on the ground floor until 1963 when it was converted to residential use (increasing the number of apartments from six to eight).
