Description & Building Alterations
This six-story brick and stone loft building was erected in 1911 by owner Chas. A. King and was designed by architect C. B Brun. The building was utilized as a factory before its conversion to residential use in 1995.
The facade features brick facing and stone banding dividing each floor, in addition to a simple molded cornice above the ground floor, and the roof cornice was removed prior to the 1980s. There is a seventh floor atop the rightmost bay. The rear of the building is visible from East Houston Street, and the facade features enlarged window openings and lacks the banding found on the front facade.
