Description & Building Alterations
This Old-Law tenement was designed by Schneider & Herter in 1901 shortly before the tenement laws changed. It originally housed 14 families. The seven story brick building features brownstone on the first floor and an irregular facade to fit into the oddly shaped corner lot. The windows at the third story are arched. Other architectural details include engaged columns, scrolled keystones, and dentiled and bracketed continuous sills at the fourth and sixth story windows.
