Description & Building Alterations

According to tax records, this building was constructed in 1848 as a single-family rowhouse. It was likely raised one story in the latter half of the 19th century.

By 1912 it, and its now-demolished neighbor at no. 354, had been “tenementized.” In 1940 the building was owned by Joseph Rosenbluth. Between 1968 and 1970 the apartments were converted into duplexes.
