Description & Building Alterations

Originally built as a wood frame row house, this building has been heavily altered over the years. In 1933, the building was converted from a tenement into a commercial building with storage on the upper floors and a furniture store on the ground floor. It was likely at this point that the facade was modified and the individual window openings were replaced with large, continuous window openings.

What is the Building Blocks Project
