Description & Building Alterations
This five-story tenement was built in 1875 in Italianate and neo-Grec style. It was to be occupied by 18 families with stores on the ground floor.
The facade features a cast-iron storefront, including pilasters flanking the entrance, a molded entablature and a cornice and frieze above. The upper stories feature masonry quoins, pedimented and molded window lintels, sills with brackets, and a bracketed roof cornice with frieze panels and a triangular pediment at center.
