Description & Building Alterations

This five-story with basement tenement was built in 1864, originally owned by the same person who built No. 333 East 5th Street during the same year.

The present facade features a historic molded cornice with dentils. The arched window lintels and bracketed sills have been stripped. The historic stoop when the entrance was relocated to the basement, with the first floor reconfigured. The building’s fire escape is highly ornamented.
